Sterling Basketball teams are reserved for players with more advanced skills.  Our goal is to watch our teams play together and grow together over mutiple seasons. We demand a greater committment from team members, and request that Sterling Team activities take priority over other non-school related activities/athletics during the season.

We also expect more from our team players as we teach college level offensive and defensive systems. Success is determined not only by a players individual skill but also by their ability to absorb and execute our approach on the court. We also expect the same in the classroom and work with parents to make sure our players excel just as much academically as they do with the basketball.

Our philosophy is that when you expect more from children, they tend to deliver more.  To that end, we hold ourselves to the same level of accountability. We script every practice plan to the minute and make the most of our players' time. We practice at least once a week and often add practice sessions when necessary.

Our practices focus on learning how to play within the team concept; therefore, we highly recommend that Sterling team members participate in our academy to continue developing their individual skills.
